by time news

After the launch of the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung is freeing up to give the updated One UI interface experience to the previous models as well and it starts first with last year’s models: Galaxy S22 alongside Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4.

Samsung has started releasing update versions for several different devices in Europe and the East. As mentioned, these include the foldables of last year, but also the older ones of 2021. In the Galaxy S series, the first to receive is the S22, and later the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S20 models are also expected. It is not yet clear when the Galaxy Note 20 will receive the update.

The list of updates includes new camera controls that will allow you to change the tone in selfies as well as the flavor of the Expert RAW app for more professional photos that can be changed later. There are also some new features in the Gallery app, such as a more convenient data view and the ability to share family photo albums. There will also be some new widgets such as an option to choose a wallpaper according to the mood, a new battery widget, an improved weather widget, and more.

The update can weigh up to about 2 GB depending on the device model, and also includes the February 2023 monthly security patch. To check if the update is already available for the device, go to Settings > Software Update.
