These include bananas, grapes, watermelon, dates, and mangoes. The expert also advises limiting the consumption of fruit to dieters to two, or better to one.

Degtyannikova clarifies that the glycemic index is the rate at which glucose enters the bloodstream. It measures the rate at which insulin is produced, which launches glucose into the cell.
