The government of Saudi Arabia launched a space program called ‘Vision 2030’ last year. It selects and trains soldiers for short- and long-range space missions.

Recently, Saudi Arabia has been intensifying its space program.

In 2019, the United Arab Emirates sent humans into space. This made it the first Arab country to send humans into space.

Saudi Arabia is going to send a female athlete into space for the first time. The media of Saudi Arabia reported that 4 people, including Rayana Barnawi, an astronaut from Saudi Arabia, and Ali Alkarni, an astronaut from their fellow country, are going to join the AX-2 space mission.

They are about to go to the International Space Station. The space shuttle with 4 passengers including Rayana Parnavi is going to be launched from America.

Rhianna Barnavi, 33, graduated from the University of Dun Otago in New Zealand with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science. He also received his Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Albay Sal University.

He has 9 years of experience in Cancer Stem Cells research. She holds the distinction of being the first Arab woman in space.

It is noteworthy that in 1985, the Saudi prince and air force pilot Sultan bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz participated in the space mission organized by the United States and became the first Arab Muslim to go to space.
