Zoid Kirsch, Senior Engineer for the original Metroid Prime. has come out to criticize the remaster version of the game in the slightest that he and many employees involved in creating the original game. The remaster was not credited to the game, as Kirsch and others were former employees of Retro Studios.
“When my son played Metroid Prime for the first time on Switch, I saw the fact that my son didn’t see my name. and the name of a colleague on the credit page. We created the original version of the game.” – Zoid Kirsch
This is a travesty. Not just for my credit (even though most of my code was probably replaced), but for people whose code and work are largely unchanged, like Mark HH, Steve McCrea, all of the uprezzed art and concepts, the game design. Shameful. https://t.co/y6tXyCG3N1

“I saw it and it hurt so much. Even Mark HH, Steve McCrea, designers, art designers. in which they were involved in the development of the original version of the game. including content with some code from the original still visible in the remaster version, not credited This is a real shame.” – Jack Mathews, one of the game developers.
The development team of Retro Studios and Nintendo have not commented on this issue until then. If there is any interesting game news, the GamingDose team will keep you posted.
