Srikakulam: Venu (26) from Ichapuram, Srikakulam District, Andhra State and Pravallika (23) from Parampur Village, Odisha got married on the 10th at Simmachalam Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Temple near Visakhapatnam.
Following this, on the 13th, both the newlyweds were going to the bride’s house by bike. Then, while they were traveling at Kollandhra on Andhra-Odisha state border, a speeding tractor hit their bike.
The groom Venu tragically died on the spot in this tragic accident. Pravallika, the bride, was seriously injured. The police took him to Paramburam Government Hospital. Intensive care was given there. However, Pravallika also died tragically without treatment.
The death of the newlyweds just 3 days after their wedding has caused great sadness in the area.
