Lidl is one supermarket chain discount of German origin than in Spain. Working in one of their supermarkets is a good option for many people. In 2023, the base salary of a Lidl cashier is 15,886 euros per year (8.85 euros/hour), amount at which salary supplements will have to be added. In this way, if the worker chooses to collect his salary distributed in 14 pays (12 monthly payments plus 2 extraordinary) will receive a salary of 1.134,71 euros. In the case of prorating overtime pay, the salary will be 1,323.83 euros per month.
The supplements that correspond to each worker vary according to their circumstances, regulated in articles 28 to 32 of this Lidl Collective Agreement. The complements are salary payments which are added to the worker’s personal base salary.
Lidl classifies the complements of its workers in three groups: personal, with respect to their workplace, and functional, activity and circumstantial. Of these, the following supplements will be established:
SALARY SUPPLEMENTS
Nocturnal supplement
Cashiers who for work reasons have to work in schedule between ten at night and six in the morning they will charge a plus of 25% of the base salary. In other words, for Group III the night work hour will be paid to 11,06 euros.
CPT special liability supplement for group difference
Cashiers who, in addition to the functions corresponding to their jobs, cover situations of licenses, days off, permits, holidays and reductions in working hours will receive a salary supplement of1 euro per hour worked. This means that the cashier will receive a salary of 17,680.75 euros per year. That is, 1,262.91 euros in 14 payments or 1,473.39 euros in 12 payments.
