The School of Merchant Marine Officers (EFOMM), in the neighborhood of Olaria, receives this Wednesday (15) a simulator for operating containers in a new classroom inaugurated by Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP). The objective is for students to have practical experience to work in the planning of port facilities and cargo vessels. The tool will benefit hundreds of students of the Merchant Navy Officer Training Course.
The initiative is a partnership between EFOMM, BTP and the South Korean company CyberLogitec. The investment is considered a big step forward for teaching at the institution, which will receive a simulation module for the Opus Stowage System operating system, produced by the multinational.
