China has completed building its own space station in space. The space station, named Tiangong, consists of 3 modules. China is working to improve scientific experiments in laboratories at this station, which is set up in zero gravity.
Accordingly, China has announced the implementation of 2-year plans for the newly built Tiangong space station, i.e. plans to send humans to Tiangong. Apart from the two manned missions, two cargo spacecraft will also be sent, the China Aerospace Exploration Agency (CMSA) said.
China plans to launch Tianzhou-6 cargo spacecraft in May. It is connected to the Microgravity Laboratory. It is reported that this spacecraft will be attached to the aft port area of the core module.
He also said that China is working on launching the Shenzhou-17 spacecraft in October. It is attached to the front part of the core module. Earlier, China announced plans to launch 60 space programs and more than 200 spacecraft by 2023. China’s space science and technology sector is projected to witness significant growth in 2023.
