ALBRANDSWAARD – The Alzheimer café started again on February 7th.
Moderator Klazina van der Herik talked to Robert Bloemhoff, music therapist and house clown at Laurens. Robert has explained in detail what music does to the brain and how it can support people with dementia. Music and humor are important elements for people with dementia and for carers.
The next Alzheimer’s Café on March 7 will be slightly different than usual. Several organizations will come by to show their range of leisure, days out and holidays on a leisure and holiday market.
On March 7 in the De Boekenstal community center, Dorpsstraat 34 in Poortugaal. Walk-in from 7 pm. You can walk along the stalls at your own pace.
The Alzheimer Café is organized by Aafje, Argos Zorggroep, Municipality of Albrandswaard, Welzijn Albrandswaard, Zorggroep De Laren and Zorggroep De Toekomst.
