Movie star Raquel Walsh has passed away at the age of 82, and died of a short illness, according to a report on the TMZ website. The actress is remembered for starring in films such as “Amazing Journey” and “A Million Years BC” in the 60’s. Walsh also appeared in “The Three Musketeers”, for which she even won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical. Walsh gained popularity, and was a sex symbol and a fashion and culture icon.
Walsh was named one of the “100 sexiest stars in film history” in the British Empire magazine’s 1995 issue, and was ranked third in Playboy magazine’s list of “100 sexiest stars of the 20th century”.
Walsh was married four times and left behind two children.
