Cult juror of Nouvelle Star, drummer Manu Katché is back on M6 to celebrate 20 years of telecrochet.

New Star back on M6, to celebrate its 20th anniversary! The cult singing show, whose first episode was broadcast on March 27, 2003, is in the spotlight during two evening events, this Wednesday February 15, then next Wednesday, February 22. On the program of these two prime time shows, the return of outstanding candidates from the different telecrochet seasons, but also that of those who were then nicknamed the Fantastic Four: André Manoukian, Marianne James, Dove Attia and Manu Katché, the jurors of Nouvelle Star, who offered viewers of the program many cult moments, brought together in these two anniversary evenings.

Successful drummer, despite his international notoriety, Manu Katché has managed, including during his career as a juror of Nouvelle Star, to maintain a share of private life. Discreet in the media, the musician was married from 1980 to 1990 to actress Sophie Duez, with whom he had two daughters, Lucile born in 1989 and Rose in 1992. It was then with a make-up artist, Laurence, that Manu Katché starts a new life and welcomes a third daughter, Tess. The current wife of the drummer had already had a child from a previous union, Benjamin.

Manu Katché’s three daughters grew up far from the spotlight. However, the youngest, Tess, somewhat followed in her father’s footsteps by taking the stage at the Olympia to sing alongside him. The eldest of the family, Lucile, “created her own company which gives advice in public relations and communication”, according to Femme Actuelle, when Rose is a director.
