6 dead in a car accident in Egypt, including 5 Palestinians
At least 6 people were killed and 3 others were injured in a car accident that occurred between a truck and a minibus near the city of Ismailia in Egypt. Among the dead were 5 Palestinians who were on their way to the Gaza Strip
Fatal accident: At least 6 people were killed and 3 others were injured in a car accident that occurred today (Thursday) near the city of Ismailia in Egypt. It was reported in the local media that 5 of the dead were Palestinian citizens, who were on their way to the Rafah crossing to enter the Gaza Strip.
According to the local authorities, the accident occurred when a truck and a minibus collided with each other while traveling on the highway. Rescue teams were called to the scene of the accident, and worked to rescue the injured who were trapped on the spot. It was later reported that the injured were transferred to hospitals in nearby cities for further medical treatment.
Road accidents are considered a common phenomenon in Egypt, due to the poor conditions of the country’s roads and the lack of compliance with traffic laws. According to the data of the local authorities, over 7,000 people were killed in road accidents throughout the country in the last year, along with tens of thousands of injured in various degrees.
