Kangeyam: Gangeyam police nabbed and arrested the thief who had given money to Dimmi for failing to appear in four cases.
Saravanan (45) from Ettukkudivilaku area, Ramnathapuram district, Thiruvadan taluka has four cases of theft and robbery in the police station of Kangayam police station, Vellakovil police station and Pedgur police station. In this case, Saravanan was not present in the court for hearing the case.
Subsequently, the Kangeyam court issued an arrest warrant for Saravanan. After that, Saravanan, who was absconding, formed a special force and searched for the Kangayam police. The Kangayam police received a tip-off that Saranavan was at a Tasmac shop in Modakurichi area of Erode district.
Subsequently, SI, Karthik and constable Ramesh went to the Tasmac shop and surrounded and arrested Saravanan who was absconding. He was produced in Kangeyam Court and sent to Tirupur Jail.
