Bakasuran Tamil movie review What is Bakasuran saying?

by time news

Mohan G is a famous director who has directed movies like Thirelapathi, Rudra Thandavam, Old Vannarappet. Bhagasuran is the latest addition to his film line-up.

Famous director Selvaraghavan, Natarajan of ‘Chaturanga Vedati’ fame and others have played important roles in the film. Not only Selvaraghavan but also among the entire cinema fans, there was a lot of expectation for the film Bhagasooran.

Story of the film: Major Natty’s own nephew Ramya suddenly hangs herself. Major Nutty continues to search for the reason. Then he gets Ramya’s mobile phone. In it, Natrajan comes to know that Ramya was engaged in sex work and someone is threatening her that even if she gets married, she will not be able to escape from this business. Horrified by the reason, Natty searches for the identity of the threatening person and learns that many women are forced into sex work due to financial constraints. Similarly, he calls the victim’s father to rescue the victims.

At the same time, director Selvaraghavan, who plays Bhimarasu, takes revenge on those responsible for the death of his daughter who committed suicide due to sexual violence. Bhagasuran is the meeting point of both. Both their stories travel in different directions and merge at some point.

In the first scene, Selvaraghavan, who has shot someone with a volley, comes in the next scene with a big forehead and a rudraksha on his neck. Although his performance initially did not stick in my mind, by the time the film is over, he is the one who gets up and walks away. We can see a clear contrast between the cruel Bhimarasu at the time of killing those responsible for his daughter’s death and the meek Bhimarasu as a loving father in the flashback. Selva captivates all the fans in the scene where he is troubled by the loss of his daughter and in the scene where he mourns many people saying that no one should die like his daughter.

Meanwhile, Selvaragavan’s disturbing flashback has been taken to the point where the film’s viewers are hardened by the same social commentary that everyone knows.

The music lends itself well to this film. The background music is also amazing. But apart from the first song of the film, nothing else is enjoyable.

Bhagasooran director Mohan Ji’s biggest plus point is his non-combat screenplay. He followed the same in this film. Even though his views are not acceptable at some places, the way he has handled the story in an elegant manner is surprising to many.

Director Mohan ji has tried to give a better film than his previous films. Although the screenplay is good, the dialogues are not good at places. Even before the first half of the film is over, many are asking ‘No more interval’.

In this digital age many things have changed in the world beyond the cell phone. But in the movie Bhagasuran, they have taken seriously the idea that all the problems in our town are caused by this.

In every scene, the girls blame Namby for showing their bodies and kissing him, and no one says anything about the people posting the videos about them. Appreciate the director if he mentioned the problems of cell phone and talked about the methods to deal with it. However, it is not acceptable that the idea of ”everything is because of mobile phone” was tried to be imposed in this film. He portrays women’s rights advocates as criminals.

If you want, you can only appreciate the way in which women are trapped in the sex industry.

Similarly, the director Mohan Ji, who says that women should be protected, has obscene dance in the film? All in all, if you want to watch Bhagasuran for Selvaragawa, there is nothing else to say.

Logical flaws in many places. Uninteresting screenplay, inappropriate dialogues. Many dialogues in the film are regressive, for example, people living in Chennai have become expatriates, we should make them study in the town, we should monitor what our children are doing in the room, so decide for yourself what the film is trying to say.
