Dindigul: The State Level Sub Junior Cadet Carrom Championship started yesterday at Dindigul Sri Vasavi Matric., Higher Secondary School.
410 students from 21 districts participated in the three-day competition. On the first day, the competition was held in the under-14 category.
Tamil Nadu Carram Sangh State President Nazar Khan presided.
Dindigul District President Swaminathan presided. The Mayor of the Corporation inaugurated it.
State Vice President Kazamaideen, Secretary Maria Uridayam, Sri Vasavi Matric., High School Principal Sreedharan, School Principal Jaysibel Shalom, Dindigul District Football Association General Secretary Shanmugam, Patel Hockey founder Ramesh Patel participated.
