The upper house of the German parliament, the Bundesrat, will decide today on the new national anti-Coronavirus rules approved yesterday by the Bundestag, the so-called ’emergency brake’ to be activated in the presence of a high number of infections, over 100 per 100 thousand inhabitants for three consecutive days. The Chamber – made up of the delegates of the governments of the 16 Laender – will meet at 11 am. After the approval of the Bundesrat, the provision will have to be signed by the president.
