Seetha made her debut with the movie ‘Anbhaavam’. She emerged as a leading actress in Tamil cinema in the 80s, acting alongside leading actors such as Rajini, Kamal, Parthiban, and Pandiyarajan.
Actress Seetha has also acted in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam language films. She acted with Parthipan in the film ‘Puthiya Pathan’. After that, actor Parthiban and Seetha fell in love and got married. The star couple broke up after 11 years of marriage.

It was actor Pandiyarajan who introduced actress Seetha. After seeing Sita’s photos, he went straight to Sita’s house and sought permission from her father to cast Sita. But Sita has no interest in acting. In a way Pandiarajan made him agree.
Pandiyarajan first cast Seetha in ‘Aanbhaavam’. In one of the shootings of the film, a watch falls into hot water and Sita has to use the top of her scarf as a filter to pick it up. When Pandiarajan said this scene, Sita said that I cannot take off the scarf.
To that Pandiarajan says that it will be right if Illama does that according to the story, Sita says that she can’t. Well no… Said said to take the watch using at least the previous one as a filter.
