Last October Shapir announced that she and her husband were expecting their first child, two months after they got married in Caesarea. Shapir announced the news of the pregnancy on social networks, when she uploaded a photo of her and Stiva, and wrote: “When stomach feelings take on a new meaning. We are very excited to start the year like this.”
On the eve of the last 15 Av, Shapir, who was one of the leaders of the ‘Tent Protest’, and Stiva, a son of one of the wealthiest families in Israel and the son of the astronaut Eitan Stiva, stood under a canopy in Caesarea and entered into the marriage covenant in a Jewish-religious wedding, but outside the rabbinate. Among the guests were Avi and Yehudit Tiomkin, Gabi and Ethy Rutter, Tami and Chen Lamdan, Gilad Karib, Ilan Ward Greenbaum, Shalmor Straussman and Ofer Neuman.
