JActor Shine Tom Chacko talks about his days at Yil, how he overcame it and the cockpit incident. He recalled that he thought he would never get films while in jail. Shine shared these things on Club FM’s Star Jam.

When I was in jail, I thought that I would not get any more movies. But Manas reassured himself that there would be good and dirty roles and he would get them. Ishq had the worst possible character around him. A script with such a space has not been heard till then. It is not a long story. The story takes place in one night and is told in great detail. Shine said that the character is the fuel that has reached here.

‘In prison, reading a book by Paulo Coelho gave me a little bit of lost hope. He was there for sixty days. To overcome those experiences in 2019. He used to say to motivate himself that there are not only good roles but also ugly roles in the film. This was the thought about the film. There was nothing to think about real life. There were no other concerns.’ He clarified.

Shine also opened up about the much-controversial cockpit incident. The actor said that he tried to get into the cockpit of the plane to check if it was being flown by experienced people. Don’t pay cash? Don’t Air India think we belong to India? When we get inside the cockpit, we realize that we are all strangers. Don’t spray water if the pilot is prone and lying down? So is it enough for everyone to stay outside saying that they should not go in? I’ve seen non-pilots get into it. Shine asked that they don’t have any problem.
