18 Afghan refugees found dead in container in Bulgaria

A container truck was parked in a deserted area on Friday in Logarsko, a village 20 kilometers from the capital Sofia in Bulgaria. The police opened the truck on suspicion and searched it.

When the truck checked the container, it was revealed that 52 people had reached it. 18 of them died and were found dead. The remaining 34 were in critical condition fighting for their lives. The police rescued them and admitted them to the hospital. They are being treated there.

In this regard, the investigation conducted by the Bulgarian police revealed that all the people who came in the container truck were refugees from Afghanistan and they had entered Bulgaria through Turkey.

Bulgarian police have arrested 4 people for helping them arrive with the intention of seeking asylum in one of the European countries.

Due to war, famine, economic crisis, people from many countries of the world have left their countries in search of livelihood and are seeking refuge in other countries as refugees. More people are leaving from South American countries, Africa, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria etc.

Thus migrants enter European countries illegally. Many try to seek asylum in European countries via Turkey. While going like that, the army of the country stops them.
