Mother of young woman who claims to be Madeleine says her daughter ‘is sick’ and needs ‘psychiatric help’ – News

Julia Faustyna, 21, believes she is Madeleine McCann, a girl who disappeared in 2007 during a family trip. This Friday (18), the young woman used social networks to share prints of a conversation, in which her mother claims that her daughter “is sick”, needs “psychiatric help” and “setting up a circus”.

“You are sick, Julia,” the message reads. “I’m selling the house and none of us will answer the phone if you call, for everything you’ve done and the embarrassment you’ve put me through.”

In the text, the woman still claims to have photos and videos, which contradict Julia’s version. In response, the young woman snapped, “Now I’m crazy.”

The story told by Julia came to light through a video shared on the Instagram profile iammadeleinemccann (I am Madeleine McCann, in literal translation).

She also shared a photo of the composite portrait of a suspected kidnapper of Madeleine in Portugal, who Julia claims looks the same as the man who abused her.

“This person is very similar to the pedophile who abused me!! I need to know the truth”, he writes in the caption of a post pinned to the profile.

The young woman tries to contact the McCann family to do a DNA test. She reports that she sought out the police in England and Poland, the country where she currently lives, but was ignored.

Most of her publications on the internet point to physical similarities between her and Madeleine and the parents of the missing girl.

Madeleine case

On May 3, 2007, Madeleine McCann disappeared shortly before her 4th birthday in Praia da Luz, a resort in the tourist region of the Algarve, where she was on vacation with her family.

At the time, the case shocked the entire world, and remains without an outcome. Shortly before the crime was considered prescribed, the Portuguese Public Prosecution Service presented a culprit.

The man, who is serving a sentence in prison for the 2005 rape of a 72-year-old American woman in Portugal, had already been identified by German investigators in 2020 as the prime suspect in the murder of the British girl.

The young woman’s mother is abusive, of course she is going to accuse her of being insane. She’s controlling and doesn’t want Julia to leave, it’s the reason why she stole her. The mum is putting on a show so that people think she is innocent
