Nandamuri Dharaka Ratna made his acting debut in 2002 with the film ‘Okato Num Guradu’ directed by Kothandarami Reddy.
Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N.T. Ramara’s grandson and cinematographer Mohana Krishna’s son, he has played lead roles in several Telugu films. He acted in the web series ‘9 Hours’ which was released on OTT in 2022 and won many praises.
Meanwhile, he decided to enter full-time politics and worked with the Telugu Desam Party and participated in a political program held on January 27. He was admitted to the hospital due to a heart attack. He was undergoing treatment in the hospital for the last 23 days and died yesterday without any result. Nandamuri Tharaka Ratna’s death has left the Telugu film industry sad. Film industry and political party leaders have expressed their condolence on his death.
