Emmanuel Macron brings together on Monday evening at the Élysée a hundred of the most promising young entrepreneurs in the French “start-up nation”, so dear to his heart. Their common point? Be included in the 2023 promotion of the most successful young French technology companies.
These two lists, prestigious in the ecosystem, called “French Tech Next 40” and “French Tech 120”, are based above all on criteria – debatable and discussed – of amounts of funds raised and average growth in turnover.

But it gives an interesting point of view on the French landscape, after 10 years of policy of accompaniment and support of French Tech. An ecosystem that has grown considerably, as evidenced by the number of unicorns, these companies valued more than 1 billion euros.
