Patna: Former Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha has announced that he will quit United Janata Dal and start a new party named Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal.

Upendra Kushwaha, a former Union Minister from Bihar, merged his Rashtriya Lok Samada Party with the United Janata Dal in March 2021. Dissatisfied with this, Upendra Kushwaha started criticizing Nitish Kumar. As this trend of criticism continued for the past few months, it was being talked about that he might leave the party anytime.

In this case, Upendra Kushwaha, who announced today that he is leaving the United Janata Party, has also announced that he will start a new party in the name of Rashtriya Lok Janata Dal. He also said that he will be the national leader of the party. His announcement has created a stir in Bihar politics.

Earlier, Upendra Kushwaha, who gave an interview to ‘The Hindu’ newspaper on the 15th, warned that if Tejaswi Yadav becomes the Chief Minister of Bihar, the state will start again. It is noteworthy that Kushwaha criticized that Tejashwi Yadav will destroy the state of Bihar as Lalu Prasad Yadav destroyed it.
