A joint effort to find the three “missing Miron”

by time news

The teams of the Israel Canine Unit, together with RTG’s Nahal Amud Nature Reserve inspectors, today (Monday) conducted a special search day in the Miron-Safet sector, for the missing Avraham Moshe Kleinerman, Rafael Haim Haddad, and Moshe Eliezer Ilovitz.

The searches conducted today focused on complex areas, including thickets, caves, cliffs, bodies of water and more. The teams worked with sniffer dogs and drones, as well as with a unique application for managing and documenting scanning areas developed by the unit, which records the areas scanned. It should be noted that these are areas that have not been scanned to this day in the search for the three missing persons, and this is a very important section that overlaps relevant areas for the three missing persons. The mission is not yet complete.

YCL Commander Mike Ben Ya’akov: “I am very happy about the cooperation between the dogs from ICL, and the experts from the Nature and Parks Authority, the goal is to make sure that no field cell falls between the chairs, and that the caves, cliffs and thickets, which are less traveled, are properly scanned. I thank To the volunteers and inspectors of the Nahal Amud Nature Reserve for the great assistance today in the searches.”
