Family Day: Two lone soldiers from the same unit were flown to families in the US

For thousands of lone soldiers serving in the IDF, a family meal around a table seems like a distant dream. They came from different countries in the world with a deep sense of mission to contribute themselves to the good of the country, and the longing for family is present in their lives every day.

In the Soldier’s Association, they try to give those soldiers the feeling of family, warmth and love even when the family is far away, but also help them meet their families during the service. This week, a few days before Family Day, thanks to the contribution of the FIDF organization and through the Association for the Soldier, Noah Tsir and Yona Eisenberg, two lone soldiers from the same unit, flew to visit their families in the USA. These very days they are spending time with the families, absorbing warmth and love and enjoying themselves After spending time together, they will both return to the IDF family and friends in Israel.
