Ram Charan goes ‘barefoot’ on Oscars night: Here’s why

Ram Charan, the hero of the film RRR, boarded a flight from Hyderabad the other day for the Oscar night in Los Angeles. Ram Charan left early because he had some other events in the US.

Ram Charan attended the last Golden Globe Awards night along with co-star Jr NTR and RRR director SS Rajamouli. RRR was nominated in the Best Foreign Language category at the awards night. But Argentina 1985 won this award at the 80th Golden Globe Awards. RRR won the Best Original Song Award at the Golden Globe Awards. RRR won the Best Foreign Language Award at this year’s Critics’ Choice Awards.

RRR was released last March. Junior NTR and Ramcharan played the lead roles in the film. Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody also starred in ‘RRR’. Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad wrote the screenplay for the film. Set in the 1920s, the film tells the story of freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

Rajamouli has written the story of the film in the imagination that these two people, who have never met in real life, would have seen each other. The film is produced by DVV Danaiah under the banner of DVV Entertainment. The film collected more than 1200 crore rupees. The film was recently released in Japan and received good response.
