Sources in the Union Ministry of Home Affairs said that the government has received an income of Rs 3,400 crore through the sale of movable assets including jewels and stocks which were enemy assets.

Of these, gold alone has been sold for 49 lakh rupees. Silver has been sold for Rs 11 lakh.
