HM hospitals, new official medical provider of the Spanish Basketball Federation

The HM Hospitales group will be the official medical provider of the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) in the year of the centenary of said organization and until 2025, after the agreement signed by the president of the hospital group, Juan Abarca, and the federation, Jorge Garbajosa, in Madrid.

In this period of the agreement, the Spanish teams will play the World Cup and the Women’s EuroBasket in 2023, the Paris Olympic Games next year, and the two European Games, Men’s and Women’s, in 2025.

The firm anticipates that HM Hospitales will be the responsible for medical check-ups and health coverage of the players and coaching staff of the Spanish basketball teams.

The debut of HM Hospitales as official medical provider of the FEB will materialize in the next matches of the senior men’s team, which will be played in Reykjavik against Iceland this Thursday and in Cáceres against Italy, next Sunday.

Both matches qualify for the 2023 World Cup, which will take place in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia between August 25 and September 10, a tournament for which Spain has already qualified.
