Silberstein served for the past six years as the director of AT&T Israel’s software products research and development division in several strategic areas of the company. She will replace Natalie Kramer, who has held the position for the past three years

The American telecom giant AT&T announced today that it has appointed Rinat Silberstein as CEO of its research and development center in Israel. She will also serve as a vice president at AT&T Worldwide. Silberstein, who headed AT&T Israel’s software products division in the mobile, media and communications worlds, will replace Natalie Kramer, who has held the position for the past three years.

Zilberstein began her professional career at the startup Interwise, which was sold to AT&T in 2007, and has since held a series of positions in the development and product worlds at AT&T’s research and development center in Israel.

Zilberstein will now lead the activity in Israel, which has approximately 500 employees, as well as a number of development organizations in the US that belong to the company’s global development system. The global organization that will be under her management will appoint over 1,000 employees from the worlds of cyber, IoT, mobile, communication and cloud development.

AT&T is traded on the New York Stock Exchange with a current market value of $137 billion. The company has more than 100 million users and about 2.5 million businesses in the United States. The company offers communication, cyber, IOT, mobile, cloud, e-commerce and technology solutions for businesses.
