Chicken – Half Kg (Curry)
Onion – 1
Tomato – 1
Garam masala powder – 2 spoons
Green Chillies – 3
Ginger, garlic paste – 3 spoons
Biryani leaves, bark – a little
Curd – 1/2 cup
Chili powder – 2 spoons
Coriander powder – 2 spoons
Turmeric powder – half spoon
Basmati rice – 3 cups
Cloves – 4
Cardamom – 4
Salt, water – required quantity
Coriander leaves – 1 handful
Recipe:
1. Pour oil in a pan and when dry add biryani leaves, cloves, cardamom and bark and add onion and saute.
2. Once the onions are fried well, add ginger garlic paste and green chillies and fry well.
3. Next add tomato and saute it. Meanwhile, clean the chicken well and mash it well by adding chilli powder, garam masala powder, curd and salt.
4. Once the tomatoes are fried well, add the soaked chicken pieces and fry for a few minutes. Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder and stir fry.
5. Finally add salt and required amount of water and let it boil. Add basmati rice and cover and cook on medium flame.
6. When it is cooked, add the chicken keema biryani and sprinkle with coriander.
