The Ministry of Education has denied the news that school classes will be conducted online during the month of Ramadan in Kuwait. Officials clarified that there is no need to conduct online classes in the present situation.
Lower primary classes start at 9:30 am and end at 1 pm and primary, middle and high school classes end at 1:30 pm. Earlier, the members of Parliament had demanded online classes in schools, colleges and universities to ease the rush during the month of Ramadan.
Roads experience severe traffic jams during Ramadan as educational institutions and government and private institutions close at the same time.
