This new story is based on the same concepts as its predecessor, although this time Will Merrick y Nick Johnsoneditors of the first installment, are the writers and directors. When his mother (Nia Long) disappears while on vacation in Colombia with her new boyfriend, June’s search for answers (Storm Reid) is hampered by international bureaucracy. But the deeper she goes in her search, her digital investigation brings up more questions than answers…and when June reveals secrets about her mother, she realizes she never really knew her.
