Harry Styles respected the Australian tradition of “Shoey” during his concert in Perth

This tradition, called “Shoey”, is generally practiced to celebrate an event, for hazing or to bring good luck. Australian F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo is notably known for doing it on the podiums. While the former One Direction singer accepted the invitation, he still considers it one of the “most disgusting traditions ever”
