Amritsar: Waris Punjab De followers attacked the police in Amritsar, Punjab. With the demand to release the leaders arrested by the police, thousands of people attacked with swords and weapons and besieged the Ajnala police station. There is still tension in the area.
Waris Punjab De leader Amritpal Singh’s close followers like Lovepreet Toofan and Baldev Singh were arrested in cases of kidnapping and violence. The attack is for their release. Earlier they had blocked the Amritsar-Jalandhar National Highway.
