Elected to participate in a collective project, today I can only observe our powerlessness to project ourselves towards the challenges of tomorrow”, writes Sandjak, 63, who is serving his 3rd term (since 2012) at the head of the League of Paris Ile-de-France

Sandjak has long been an opponent of Breton, even facing him in 2017 in Jacques Rousselot’s list. But he had decided to join Le Graët four years later. Jamel Sandjak, who had not really found his place in this Comex, has never hidden that he was thinking of the presidency of the French Football Federation for the future. As a fine strategist, he is therefore already setting a date for 2024 by marking his territory. In his mind, Noël Le Graët should certainly leave his post as president on Tuesday. In this case, Philippe Diallo would become interim president until the Federal Assembly in June where he would have every chance of being confirmed.
