A helicopter carrying the Iranian Minister of Sports, Hamid Sajjadi, crashed today (Thursday) in the Kerman district of Madinah. According to reports in Iran, Sajjadi and his entourage which included 12 other people were supposed to land near a sports complex in the city of Buffet, but as mentioned the landing did not go smoothly.
“Eyewitnesses said that the condition of the minister is good and he was taken to a hospital together with his entourage for treatment of minor injuries,” reported Madina, and indeed later the governor of the Kerman district confirmed the statements. The circumstances that led to the crash are not yet clear.

Last month, the European Union imposed sanctions against the minister following the regime’s conduct in protests against them following the treatment of women in the country and the death of Mahsha Amini.
