Muscat: Oman has allowed Israeli planes to use its airspace.

The conflict between Israel and the Arab countries that has been simmering for years is slowly easing. In that way, Israel has signed a peace treaty and established diplomatic relations with Arab countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco.

This is creating a situation where relations between Israel and the Arab countries will return to a smooth state. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is also expected to open diplomatic relations with Israel soon.

In advance of this, Saudi Arabia allowed Israeli planes to fly through its airspace in July last year. In this case, Saudi’s neighbor Oman has also given permission for Israeli planes to fly in their airspace.

This is seen as a step towards smooth diplomatic relations between Israel and Oman. It is expected that the air travel distance between Israel and India will be reduced by about 2 hours as Oman has given permission for Israeli planes to use their airspace.

Israel is expected to increase its air traffic between Asian countries as Oman allows it to use its airspace. In particular, air travel between India and Israel is expected to benefit greatly.
