The next game in the Mortal Kombat series is in advanced development, Warner Bros. announced during the disclosure of the company’s financial reports. While she hasn’t revealed more details as well as images or video from the game, it is expected to arrive later this year or early next year.
You can hear the announcement that took place during her investor call from the conversation shared on Twitter, includes confirmation from Andrew Slavin, Warner Bros. senior vice president of global investor strategy, that Mortal Kombat 12 is slated for 2023. “There’s a lot more on the way, including Mortal Kombat 12 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Games that are expected to come out this year as well with ambitious launch predictions,” Slavin said.
About a year ago there were hints about Mortal Kombat 12, but so far nothing has been official. The previous game, MK11, was launched in 2019 and received a lot of sympathy from fans and high scores from game reviewers.
