Washington: Earning 12 crores per hour is no small feat. Blackstone Chief Executive Officer Steve Schwarzman has achieved this feat. Steve Schwarzman’s earnings in 2022 will be $1.27 billion. The CEO owns about 20 percent of Blackstone shares. Schwarzman also received nearly US$1 billion in dividends.
Schwarzman’s annual earnings in 2021 were $1.1 billion. The jump in earnings makes him one of Wall Street’s highest earners. The Blackstone CEO’s net worth is US$30.6 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

“I own a lot of stock and I invest in all of our funds, so this firm is like my family,” Schwarzman, 76, said at an industry conference this year.
Steve Schwarzman was born on February 14, 1947. Under President Richard Nixon, he founded the Blackstone Group, a global private equity firm, in 1985 with former Lehman Brothers chairman and US Secretary of Commerce Peter G. Peterson.
Blackstone President John Gray earned $479.2 million in 2022. That includes US$182.7 million from dividends related to his 3 percent stake in Blackstone.
