Kochi: Director Manu James passed away before the release of Nancy Rani starring actress Ahana Krishna. Nancy Rani was the maiden film of Manu James.
Manu James, aged 31, died of jaundice while undergoing treatment at Rajagiri Hospital in Kochi. He is a native of Kottayam Kurilangad.
Apart from Ahana Krishna, Nancy Rani had a huge star cast like Arjun Ashokan, Aju Varghese, Sunny Wayne, Lena and Lal. The director’s sudden death occurred when Nancy Rani was about to release.
In 2004, Manu James made his film debut as a child star in the film I Am Curious, directed by Sabu James.
