This is an amplification of his inflammatory words from last night against hundreds of thousands of good Israelis who are fighting for democracy. This is how a prime minister who realized that he has lost his legitimacy looks like. We call on the president of the country and the heads of the parties to condemn and denounce the words of the national instigator. Shame.”
In addition, former Prime Minister Ehud Barak spoke at a demonstration in Tel Aviv and said that this is the most serious crisis since the establishment of the state. “We are here, secular and religious, Jews and Arabs, to defend the Declaration of Independence. We are facing a regime coup, which is the assassination of democracy. We will not let this happen, we will fight and we will win,” he said. Later in his speech, Barak turned to President Herzog and asked: “Is your honor in the D9 camp or in the Declaration of Independence camp?”
