The new Peugeot 508 2023 was unveiled with a bold design, which could set a new visual standard for the French automaker. The model will be sold in sedan and wagon bodies and will have a hybrid engine of up to 360 hp.
The new Peugeot 508 2023 features a new front grille with a three-dimensional finish, which gives a sense of movement. The famous dandelions got bigger and with a new luminous identity. The headlights were tapered and the hood became longer and with wide creases. The sedan version has the “C” column dropped like the coupe vehicles and features large headlights with a light signature in the shape of claws. These elements are also present in the 508 SW station wagon configuration. The wheels can be 17 or 20 inches shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
Inside, the new Peugeot 508 2023 features a 10-inch multimedia center, joystick-type handle, reminiscent of an airplane. The famous i-Cockpit still has a 12-inch instrument panel. The novelty has a premium Focal sound system with 10 speakers and a subwoofer, adaptive autopilot, trunk with electric opening, high-definition cameras, traffic sign recognition, lane departure alert with correction, among other equipment. .
Under the hood, Peugeot will offer several engines for the new 508 2023. The model can have a 1.2 liter turbo engine with 130 hp or a 1.6 liter turbo engine with 218 hp. It will also have a 1.5 liter turbodiesel engine with 130 hp. The brand will also offer plug-in hybrid versions, which deliver 225 or 360 hp.
The new Peugeot 508 2023 should initially be sold in Europe, when it should arrive there later this year. There is no information that the model will be offered in the Brazilian market.
