On the occasion of the first anniversary of the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, rallies in support of Ukrainians took place across the world on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 February.

Thousands of demonstrators notably marched in Europe to protest against the war. From the UK to the Baltics, leaders from across Europe took part in ceremonies, underlining their unwavering support for Ukraine and paying tribute to the victims of the conflict. On Saturday in Paris, hundreds of participants sang the Ukrainian anthem from Place de la République in the early afternoon.
