London:Manchester United will face Newcastle United in the English Football League Cup Final on Sunday. Kick-off is at 10pm.
This is a golden opportunity for United, who have not won a trophy since the 2016-17 season, to end their title drought. They beat Nottingham Forest in the semi-finals. The team is aiming for the 6th League Cup. This is also the team’s first final under new coach Eric Tenhaag.
It will be a historic achievement for Newcastle, who have been playing well since the change of owners. They are yet to win the League Cup. Runner-up in 1975-76 was a big achievement.
