The National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (Condusef) and the Mexican Association of Insurance Institutions (AMIS) created the Minerva Project, which is focused on providing financial tools to women.
According to its official page, in the Minerva Projectwomen will learn to create a budget of expenses and income, analyze bank credits, discover the relevance of financial preventions and plan savings goals.
What are the themes of the Minerva Project?
There are four online courses, this is the agenda:
- Where am I standing? (Budget, income and expenses)
- What do I want to achieve? (Saving)
- Is he friend or foe? (Credit)
- Am I prepared for the unexpected? (Insurance)
The Minerva Project website describes the use of traditional teaching methods such as face-to-face workshops and didactic guides; as well as digital media through an online workshop, guides, informative videos and a mobile application.

Those interested only have to enter the website of the association or Condusef and create a username and password to start taking the courses.
At the top of the page there is an option that says “Registration”, clicking on it will display a form with the following information:
- Full name
- Password
- Ciudad
- Country
- state
- Phone number
- Age range
- Gender
- educational level
- Whether or not he is a public official
At the end, you must accept the privacy terms and click on the green button with the “Register” option.
To log in, you must enter the email and password created to have a profile. Afterwards, you only have to choose the preferred topic or start with the first one to complete them all.
