In the east of the Bouches-du-Rhône, the west of the Var, the east of Vaucluse and the west of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, the snow accumulations could reach 2 to 5 centimeters in the plain, from 5 10 centimeters above 400 meters above sea level, according to Météo-France. Gusts of wind, mistral and tramontane, should also strengthen, to reach between 90 and 110 kilometers per hour in the region.

Thirty-nine other departments are also placed on yellow alert for risks of snow and ice, extreme cold or wind, Sunday and Monday.
