The Arab Federation for Human Sciences and Development and the Misr International Foundation for Human Resources Development and Specialized Research will hold the Arab Creativity Forum to Promote Mental Health “Challenges and Contemporary Issues” tomorrow, Sunday, in the Conference Hall of the Civic Education Center in Al-Jazeera.
Dr. Abeer Al-Essawy, Chairman of the Federation’s Board of Directors, said that the forum discusses a wide range of mental illnesses and phenomena that have imposed themselves due to technological development and the economic and social challenges facing the whole world.
The axes of the forum deal with the concept of mental health and the difference between whether or not, the role of the family, school and society in promoting the mental health of the individual in light of contemporary challenges, electronic addiction, the impact of economic and social changes on mental health, as well as the phenomenon of suicide among young people and its causes, and the change of morals and values in society. Arabic, social media and its impact, the culture of belonging and cognitive development, and psychological toughness in facing the challenges of the times.
A number of entities and personalities specialized in the field are participating in the forum, and there are many gifts for the attendees, including books specialized in the mental health of children and families, and many surprises.
