Yellow derby in the youth: Saturday results at the youth academy

The club’s youth team won the Tel Aviv derby away from home as part of the 23rd round of the Youth Premier League. The yellows came back from an early deficit and in two minutes reversed the result. Leo Benavenisti scored first for Hapoel from the penalty spot (24), Roy Naoy (82) and Kikir Zilberman (84) set up a yellow conversion. Maccabi completes two yellow derbies this year.

Maccabi Tel Aviv Oded – Hapoel RG 0:5 (Naarim 1)
After the victory in the season game 0:4 over Maccabi Pat in the midweek round, the Naarim A team continued the positive momentum with a 0:5 victory over Hapoel RG as part of the 20th round of the league. The yellows managed to score two goals right before the end of the half, the first was scored by myself and the second was scored by Yahal Atias. The second half opened with another goal by Seyed Abu Farhi, Yahal Atias completed a brace in the 77th minute and in added time Yuval Kafir kicked an accurate free kick to the posts. The yellows kept the gap at the top of 3 points.

Maccabi Tel Aviv ‘Eli Fox’ (Boys B)
The B boys’ team is on break due to the participation of the Israeli national team under the age of 16 in the UEFA development tournament. Our youth academy has 8 representatives in the team: Idan Trao, Liran Spiegel, Idan Weinberg, Ben Grama, Rani Rival, Yoav Honio, Yali Danor Vihel and Kanin.

Maccabi Tel Aviv Eldad – MS Ashdod Alona “Reconciliation Order”, 2:1 (boys third’)

A group of boys surrendered to MS. Ashdod as part of the 22nd cycle of the league. The Yellows fell behind early, Roy Gaffney managed to equalize the score but right in the final minutes Ashdod managed to decide the game and inflict Maccabi with its first loss in the league. The yellows are still in first place in the table and the gap from second place is five points.
