Director Siddique is talking about the interesting shooting locations of the movie Chronic Bachelor which was released years ago. In an interview to Safari TV, Siddique said that the two houses that were shot in the movie Chronic Bachelor were in two districts, but they were shooting next to each other.

He revealed that in the movie, Mammootty’s house was in Alappuzha and the house where the girls stayed was in Ernakulam.

‘Mammooka’s house is in Alappuzha. Ramya’s rented house was shot in Ernakulam. It is the house of Anto, a woman jeweller, behind the High Court.

It may seem surprising that the two houses are close. That is the magic of cinema. We have matched it with some minor corrections.

While Mammooka was looking from Alappuzha, they were looking from Ernakulam. It doesn’t feel like it in the movie. The audience can’t believe it,’ said Siddique.

He said that the first film that was shot in Anto’s house was Chronic Bachelor and all their relatives were looking for the house where Mammooka lived. But Siddique added that Anto said that they were surprised when they were told that the house where Mammooka stayed was in Alappuzha.

Chronic Bachelor was released in 2003 with Mammootty in the lead. Bhavana, Innocent, Rambha, Mukesh, Harishree Ashokan and Biju Menon are the main characters. Anandakuttan is the cameraman and the film is made in Faz.
